Customer Service Advisor
Having worked at PVM for nearly three years, Samantha is a firm member of the customer service team. It’s her job to liaise with customers, discuss specific requirements, advise on different options and come up with a solution to suit the customer. This could be for customised uniforms embroidered using one of the new machines, catering supplies for a restaurant or bar, cleaning equipment at a local attraction or safety attire for workmen. Once an order has been clarified, she will then work the other departments in the company to produce, package and deliver to the customer. That’s not where it ends though; following up after an order has arrived to check the customer is happy with their delivery, is also an important aspect of Samantha’s job.
Most recently she has been heavily involved with a new customer account, Hospicare:
“From the moment they walked through our doors, I’ve been working closely with their team to find a suitable uniform for their community and office staff. It’s always a great feeling when an order is sent out and when you follow up with the customer, they are absolutely delighted.”
No two days are the same at PVM and this combined with fantastic customers and a team who are always looking to improve and make things better, is why she loves working for the company.
“It’s a very positive environment here at PVM. The team are always smiling and are genuinely excited about what we’re here to do. I’ll always remember walking in on my first day and being greeted with friendly smiles and bundles of enthusiasm from everyone I spoke to.”
Outside of the PVM doors, Samantha enjoys spending time with her family, riding out on the back of her husband’s bike, watching rugby and football and going to the gym.
