We chatted to Images magazine about our new Barudan embroidery machine

Head of Operations, Nicky Mather with the new Barudan embroidery machine

We started 2017 with a bang; we took the final step in bringing all of our embroidery in-house and in February, we purchased our third Barudan embroidery machine. It was an exciting stage in maintaining our company ethos of providing a personal service and being the very best at what we do, just as it was in those early days.

Although on the agenda for 2017, this investment came a lot earlier in the year than expected. We were delighted to be awarded a grant from the Making it Local Leader Funding project, which meant we could bring our plans forward. That said, we took our time in choosing the right machine for our business and customer needs. Along with the power of recommendation and our own experience with our two other Barudan machines, we knew sticking with this brand and opting for the eight head version, was the right thing to do.

In the April issue of Images Magazine, Head of Operations, Nicky Mather, spoke about how this fantastic piece of technology means that the quality of the embroidery on customised clothing and specialist staff uniforms is consistently high. You can read the article on page 63.
